In the period 22 May to 30 June 2015, The Propulsion Fund has conducted and implemented the social media campaign, initiated by EUSR, aimed at engagement of the BiH citizens into the one of the most and historical processes – economic development agenda. More specifically, the campaign was programmed in innovative manner to support comprehensive effort to raise awareness, knowledge and advocacy of EU related social-economic reforms among internet users. In this campaign, we harnessed the social media revolution for social change – creating online dialog, sourcing new ideas, boosting both offline and online interaction. With constant flow of information, we have achieved increase recognition and engagement; better understand identify, and engage potential audience; enhanced outbound campaign program effectiveness.
We set Facebook target to gathering community of no less than 10.000 supporters ready to be actively involved in the effort. This target was fully achieved. Namely the total page likes at the starting date of the Campaign was 6971, while at the end of the Campaign 19577. Therefore, we can conclude that the target – new 12,606 supporters – was met, even if the Campaign had one week delay in start. The overall increase of 181% was reached. Overall exposure of at least 200.000 people only via social media was reached having in mind that only Facebook total reach was increased for 22%, in figures, total reach is 316,601 people.
