Glasam za žene (I Vote for Women) was a pre-electoral convention on the position of women in the Serbian political and social system. The convention was held on March 8, 2014, in Dom Omladine, and was organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence and the Female Parliament Network group. The convention was envisioned with the purpose of encouraging influential women in politics to publicly state their opinions on and suggestions for female activism on the local scene, priorities for female empowerment and fight for gender equality.
The event featured ten prominent female Serbian politicians who spoke on the topic of diminishing the difference between men and women in areas of economy, politics and education, with the ultimate goal of creating a closely knit network of politically active women. For the convention, Dokukino created the entire visual identity, which entailed logo creation, video animation, and event branding, coupled with complete event management and an online campaign to support the convention and generate publicity for the event and cause. Dokukino’s participation in this campaign and event was voluntary, and the entire team is happy we were a part of the process for female empowerment and engagement in politics, and gender equality.
